Booking Terms and Conditions
To book on this site you must be over 18 years of age. You must have authorisation to use the credit card. The person effecting the booking is deemed to have accepted terms and conditions on behalf of all people named in the booking.
Standard Terms and Conditions - *** NEW CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT POLICY - EFFECTIVE FOR ALL STAYS FROM 1 APRIL 2012 ONWARDS *** Cancellations will be charged at the equivalent of the first nights' accommodation. Any refunds due will be credited in the same method that payment was received. The booking fee will not be refundable. Amendments to bookings will attract a $25 fee and will be accepted subject to room availability, rate availability and the terms and conditions of sale that were applicable at the time of the original booking. If either the room availability, or rate availability, or conditions of sale are not able to be met, the amount paid on the original booking can be credited towards a new booking, less the amendment fee, and new terms and conditions of sale will apply. The amendment fee may be waived if the new amended booking price is higher than the original booking price, for example, amending a booking to a higher price room type such as pool view, or amending to a higher price season or package.
All fees are charged in Australian dollars (AUD) and all reservations are processed at our trading address of 122 Ferny Avenue, Surfers Paradise, QLD, Australia. Surcharges may apply on certain dates within the travel period. These will be specified at time of booking
If at any time a value add or inclusion or bonus is sold as part of a package, that portion of the package is deemed to be included wholly within the package and may not be dissected, removed or redeemed for cash even in the event that the portion, inclusion, value add, or bonus is not utilised.

For accommodation portion, at least one person staying in the room must be 18 years of age or older. Children are deemed as being aged 0-12 years inclusive while 13 years and over are deemed as adults. For Tours and extras, different age categories may apply and are outlined on each extra at time of booking. All rates are subject to availability. Check in time is from 2.00pm (1400hrs). Check out is 10.00am (1000hrs).
*** CURRENT CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT POLICY - FOR STAYS UNTIL 31 MARCH 2012 *** Amendments to bookings can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival, subject to room and rates availability, without an additional administration fee or penalty applying. Amendments made within 30 days of arrival will attract a $25 amendment fee and will be accepted subject to room availability, rate availability and the terms and conditions of sale that were applicable at the time of the original booking. If either the room availability, or rate availability, or conditions of sale are not able to be met, the amount paid on the original booking can be credited towards a new booking, less the amendment fee, and new terms and conditions of sale will apply. The amendment fee may be waived if the new amended booking price is higher than the original booking price, for example, amending a booking to a higher price room type such as pool view, or amending to a higher price season or package.
Cancellations made prior to 72 hours before arrival will be charged a $25 cancellation administration fee plus the online booking fee if booked online. The remaining deposit or room payment will be credited in the same method that payment was received. Bookings cancelled within 72 hours of arrival will be charged at the equivalent of one night's accommodation fee. Any refunds due will be credited in the same method that payment was received. The booking fee will not be refundable.
Sale Terms and Conditions - Additional Sales Terms and conditons may apply in addition to the above standard terms and conditions or in replacement of the standard terms and conditions. These will be specified at time of booking and listed on our terms and conditions page here.
Gift Certificates - The following applies to the use and sale of gift certificates. For booking terms and conditons please refer to standard and sale terms and conditions
Gift Certificates:
- may be used towards payment for accommodation. Any unused portion will be credited to your room account and used towards food and beverage, tours and attractions, and incidentals purchased at Paradise Resort Gold Coast and its outlets during your stay
- accommodation bookings can be made by telephone on 1800 074 111 or 61-7-5579 4444
- room rates will be based on the publicly displayed rates applicable to chosen dates of travel
- must be used by the 'valid until' date shown on certificate
- are non refundable and may not be redeemed for cash
- unused portion may not be refunded for cash but will be credited to your room account for use at resort during your stay
- are considered the equivalent of cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen
- must be presented at the resort upon arrival.
- number is unique. To avoid fraudulent use or forgery, the certificate number will be accepted once only from the first person to present
School Leavers Conditions - The following bond and/or special conditions will apply for any bookings staying over the dates of 19 November - 4 December 2011 inclusive, including any relevant details on ages of guests. A bond of AUD $500.00 per room will be payable on check-in at the Resort. This bond is payable upon check-in and can be paid by credit card, bank cheque or cash. All guests must sign a copy of the general briefing sheet, which includes details of general hotel conditions, house rules, and provide emergency contact details. At least 1 person in the room must be 18 years of age - ID will be required.
Coles Group & Myer Gift Card Campaign Conditions - Book before 31 March 2012 (unless sold out prior). Valid for travel until 30 June 2012 (excluding 6-9 April 2012). Stay 2 consecutive nights and receive a $50 gift card or stay 4 nights and receive 2 x $50 gift cards. A maximum of 2 x $50 gift cards will be issued per booking. Package price based on a minimum 2 night stay in a resort room for 2 adults and up to 2 children (0-12yrs). Upgrades to other room types available – fees apply. Subject to availability.
