Welcome to Paradise Resort Gold Coast and thank you for choosing to stay at Australia's favourite family resort.  The following information will answer most queries about your stay with us.  If you have booked online, a copy of this information is being emailed with your booking confirmation.  You may find it useful to print a copy of this page if you have booked by other methods.

BY CAR
If traveling south bound on the Pacific Hwy take Smith Street Exit #66 and follow through approx 8km to the Broadwater. At the 'T' intersection with traffic lights turn right into Marine Pde. Travel south, past Australia Fair at Southport, across the Sundale Bridge heading towards Surfers Paradise. Stay in the left hand lane. After the bridge, turn left at the third set of traffic lights. Continue along Gold Coast Hwy south bound staying in the right hand lane. Turn right at the traffic lights into Cypress Ave, continue along until next set of traffic lights. Turn right again onto Gold Coast Hwy north bound, continue along Hwy 600m and Paradise Resort Gold Coast is located on the left hand side.

If travelling north bound on the Gold Coast Highway, as you approach Surfers Paradise the Gold Coast Highway changes name to Ferny Ave. Continue north (suggest left lane) following Ferny Ave through Surfers Paradise. You will pass the Mobil service station on the left hand side and two blocks further north you will see Paradise Resort Gold Coast located on the left hand side immediately after Norfolk Avenue.

FROM THE AIRPORT
Transfer options from either Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta) or Brisbane Airports include taxis and coaches. Drive time by car from Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta) is 40-50minutes, and from Brisbane is 70-90minutes, however coach transfer times vary depending on the number of passenger drop offs.

Our Reception is open 24hours a day.  If you arrive before 2pm you are welcome to store your luggage at our concierge desk and enjoy all of our wonderful facilities prior to check in time and on the day of check out.  Zone 4 Kids can be used on the morning you check out by booking at the kiosk (located in the lobby) the evening prior.

Ample free parking is available in the streets surrounding the resort however there are 2 hour parking limits enforced between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.  Some undercover car parking is available underneath the resort however spaces are limited and not guaranteed.

Height of the car park is 2.10metres.  The majority of four wheel drives are under this measurement, however remember to take in to account your roof rack if you have got one fitted to your vehicle.

Internet kiosks ($2 per 15mins) are located in the resort lobby.  Wireless access is available in most public areas of the resort at a charge.

An ATM is located in the resort lobby for your convenience.  Currency exchange is available at reception.

All bed linen and towels are provided during your stay.  Rooms are serviced daily by our housekeeping department.  Our Resort rooms and Interconnecting rooms are hotel style, with tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board and a small fridge.  The Resort Family Rooms, Junior Bunkhouse and King Rooms do offer a microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery. 

If you are not staying in these room types you can arrange to hire microwaves or bottle warmers from our Discovery Desk along with a range of other items to make your load a little lighter when travelling.  Please note that due to fire regulations, we do not allow guests to bring their own cooking appliances.

Coin operated laundry facilities are located in the lower level of the resort.  Washing / Drying cost is $4 per load. 

The Gold Coast is renowned for being Australia's favourite playground as there are so many things to see and do.  Here are just some of the local attractions close to Paradise Resort Gold Coast.

Z4K caters for babies and toddlers right through to 12 year olds. Children are divided into different age groups over the 7 themed play spaces to ensure age appropriate care and activities are provided. Z4K is a mini fun park featuring themed play spaces such as Tiny Town with pedal powered cars and working traffic lights, Under Water World with submarines and slides, and Magic Garden with its colourful ball pit. 

If you wish to use Zone 4 Kids on the day you arrive, please book at the booking kiosk located in the resort lobby as soon as possible after arriving.  If you are arriving after the booking cut off time (3pm for evening session) please telephone Zone 4 Kids on 07 5579 4420 before 3pm on the day you are arriving to make a telephone booking.  Telephone bookings will only be accepted if you are not arriving until after the booking cut off time of 3pm.

At Paradise Resort we have a host of restaurants and bars to cater to all tastes and budgets.  Sinbads Restaurant is open daily for breakfast and dinner and GD's Cafe is open from early morning until evening for all day takeaway dining.  Bernies poolside BBQ is available Saturday nights, weather permitting.

Take a refreshing dip in one of our 4 pools, including An action packed lagoon pool, Our 25m salt water lap pool, slide Pool with giant gecko slide or our toddler wading pool. 

All pools are heated in winter and our swim spa is heated all year round. Our pools are open daily from 7.00am - 9.00pm.
