Booking Terms and Conditions

To book on this site you must be over 18 years of age. You must have authorisation to use the credit card. The person effecting the booking is deemed to have accepted terms and conditions on behalf of all people named in the booking.

Standard Terms and Conditions -

All fees are charged in Australian dollars (AUD) and all reservations are processed at our trading address of 122 Ferny Avenue, Surfers Paradise, QLD, Australia. Surcharges may apply on certain dates within the travel period. These will be specified at time of booking

If at any time a value add or inclusion or bonus is sold as part of a package, that portion of the package is deemed to be included wholly within the package and may not be dissected, removed or redeemed for cash even in the event that the portion, inclusion, value add, or bonus is not utilised.

Amendments and cancellations to reservations may be made by email on book@paradiseresort.com.au quoting your booking reference number or by calling +61-7-55794444.  Charges may apply and are outlined below.

For accommodation portion, at least one person staying in the room must be 18 years of age or older. Children are deemed as being aged 0-12 years inclusive while 13 years and over are deemed as adults. For Tours and extras, different age categories may apply and are outlined on each extra at time of booking. All rates are subject to availability. Check in time is from 2.00pm (1400hrs). Check out is 10.00am (1000hrs).

Cancellation and Amendment Policy - Cancellations will be charged at the equivalent of the first nights' accommodation. Any refunds due will be credited in the same method that payment was received. The booking fee will not be refundable. Amendments to bookings will attract a $25 fee and will be accepted subject to room availability, rate availability and the terms and conditions of sale that were applicable at the time of the original booking.  If either the room availability, or rate availability, or conditions of sale are not able to be met, the amount paid on the original booking can be credited towards a new booking, less the amendment fee, and new terms and conditions of sale will apply. The amendment fee may be waived if the new amended booking price is higher than the original booking price, for example, amending a booking to a higher price room type such as aqua view, or amending to a higher price season or package. Amendments may only be made prior to the arrival date.  Any cancellations (including reducing the number of nights originally booked) made on or after the arrival date will incur a one night fee (in addition to any nights already used).

Sales Terms and Conditions- Additional Sales Terms and conditons may apply in addition to the above standard terms and conditions or in replacement of the standard terms and conditions. These will be specified at time of booking and listed on our terms and conditions page here.

One Week Sale (Rooms from $119 + 50% off upgrades) - Book before 15 May 2013. Travel 8 May 2013 - 31 July 2013 (excluding 7-9 June & 5-6 July 2013).  From price based on a Resort Room for 2 Adults and up to 2 Children (0-12years). 50% off upgrades apply to Junior Bunkhouse, King Bunkhouse or Resort Family Room only.  Minimum 2 night stay. Surcharges apply on Saturday nights. Subject to availability. Valid for new bookings only and not available with any other offer.

5 Night Package Deal (Inc. $400 Resort Credit) Conditions - Book before 19 May 2013.  Travel 29 April - 20 September 2013. Surcharges apply for stays on Saturday nights.  Package price based on a minimum 5 night stay (within the travel period). A $400 Resort Credit is included with a minimum 5 night stay which can be used towards purchases made in any outlet at Paradise Resort Gold Coast excluding the Tours Desk and Paradise Day Spa.  The credit cannot be used towards accommodation and must be used during this visit.  Only available with room charge facility with either a valid credit card or cash deposit of $400 supplied at check-in.  The resort credit will be applied on your departure. Any unused portion will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed for cash.  Bookings are subject to availability and not available with any other offer.  This offer is for new bookings only and cannot be applied to existing bookings.

2 Night Package Conditions (Rooms from $159) - Book before 30 June 2013, Travel 1 April 2013 - 31 March 2014.  Price based on a Resort Room for 2 Adults and up to 2 Children (0-12years). Minimum 2 night stay. Prices are from and surcharges apply on Saturday nights and for stays 1-28 April 2013, 21 September - 6 October 2013, 25-27 October 2013, 14 December 2013 - 27 January 2014. Subject to availability. Valid for new bookings only and not available with any other offer.

2 Night Package Deal (Inc. FREE Kids Pass to Planet Chill) Conditions - Book before 31 March 2013. Travel 1 Feb - 30 June 2013.  Surcharges apply on Saturday nights and for stays 28 Mar - 28 April 2013. Subject to availability. Valid for new bookings only and cannot be applied to existing bookings.  Not available with any other offer. One ice-skating pass per guest 3-17years per stay.  Ice-Skating vouchers must be used during this stay and cannot be extended, exchanged for cash and are not-transferable. Planet Chill vouchers cannot be used in session 1 or 4 or for special events. 

School Leavers Conditions - The following bond and/or special conditions will apply for any bookings staying over the dates of 16-30 November 2013 inclusive, including any relevant details on ages of guests. A bond of AUD $500.00 per room will be payable on check-in at the Resort. This bond is payable upon check-in and can be paid by credit card, bank cheque or cash. All guests must sign a copy of the general briefing sheet, which includes details of general hotel conditions, house rules, and provide emergency contact details. At least 1 person in the room must be 18 years of age - ID will be required.

Gift Certificates - The following applies to the use and sale of gift certificates. For booking terms and conditons please refer to standard and sale terms and conditions

• may be used towards payment for accommodation. Any unused portion will be credited to your room account and used towards food and beverage, tours and attractions, and incidentals purchased at Paradise Resort Gold Coast and its outlets (excluding Paradise Day Spa) during your stay
• accommodation bookings can be made by telephone on 1800 074 111 or 61-7-5579 4444
• room rates will be based on the publicly displayed rates applicable to chosen dates of travel
• must be used by the 'valid until' date shown on certificate
• are non refundable and may not be redeemed for cash
• unused portion may not be refunded for cash but will be credited to your room account for use at resort during your stay
• are considered the equivalent of cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen
• must be presented at the resort upon arrival.
• number is unique. To avoid fraudulent use or forgery, the certificate number will be accepted once only from the first person to present

Planet Chill Ice-Skating Rink Terms and Conditions: The following terms and conditions apply to all users (You) of the facilities at Planet Chill at 122 Ferny Avenue, Surfers Paradise, Queensland.  By entering Planet Chill, You are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions with Zagame's Paradise Resort Gold Coast(Supplier), the operator of Planet Chill.

• You acknowledge that any activities taking place on this ice rink at Planet Chill are dangerous and involve a significant degree of physical exertion and risk.
• You acknowledge that the facilities may be unsupervised and that You participate in these activities at Your own risk and are responsible for Your own safety. If You do not currently undertake regular physical activity, You should seek medical advice before using the Planet Chill facilities.
• You authorize the Supplier to take all steps it considers reasonably necessary to protect Your welfare in the event of personal injury, including the administration of emergency first aid.
• You consent to the Supplier photographing or filming You, or any minor or dependant accompanied by You, when in Planet Chill, for use for promotional purposes including; television, film, internet and all other forms of media. Recordings or reproductions can be used without any entitlement, compensation, or financial payment.
• You must comply with all signs or other directions of the Supplier. Your ticket or other right of access may be suspended or cancelled and access to Planet Chill denied at the absolute discretion of the Supplier for non-compliance or for reckless or careless conduct.
• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult. Where You are responsible for children using the facilities at Planet Chill, You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions on their behalf and that You will directly supervise them at all times.
